Our approach

Our sustainable development aspiration is to advance the collective prosperity of New Zealand through the responsible development of New Zealand’s energy resources, strong partnerships, positive environmental stewardship, and a commitment to equitable outcomes.

Through sustainable development reporting, we disclose our impacts, identify risks and opportunities and keep track of progress on our commitments and targets. Todd reports with reference to the Core level guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the External Reporting Board Aotearoa New Zealand Climate Standards (NZ CS).

Accountability

Pillars and targets

Our sustainable development programme is built on four key pillars: our role in New Zealand’s transition to a low-emissions economy; our communities; our environment; and our people.
