Leadership

Evan is the Group Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Todd, Evan was Managing Director of SkyCity Entertainment Group, growing the company from a single site to having business operations throughout New Zealand, South Australia and the Northern Territory. 

Evan holds a Bachelor of Town Planning from the University of Auckland, a Master of Science in Tourism Management from the University of Surrey and a Master of Philosophy in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Birmingham. 

Evan has business interests in farming and viticulture and is involved in a range of charitable organisations. 

Neil was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in 2021. 

Neil joined Todd in 2002 and initially had accounting and investment management responsibilities. In 2007, he was appointed General Manager, Corporate Services for Todd and the Family Office. Following the creation of the separate Todd Family Office (TFO) in 2010, Neil was appointed Chief Executive of TFO. He was responsible for the establishment of the strategy and operation of the business, including the development of the Family Adviser structure and investment offerings. In 2017, Neil rejoined Todd as Group Manager Strategy and Planning. 

Before joining Todd, Neil held finance management roles in the dairy and financial services sectors. Neil has bachelor’s degrees in Agricultural Science and Business Studies (majoring in Accountancy) from Massey University and a Master of Applied Finance from Victoria University of Wellington. He is also a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Directors. 

In early 2021, Mark commenced as Chief Executive Officer of Todd Energy New Zealand and in 2022 was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Todd Energy, which includes Todd Energy New Zealand and Todd Energy Canada. 

Mark completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) at the University of Melbourne in 1987 and joined ExxonMobil in Victoria. Over the next 10 years, Mark held a number of developmental roles in reservoir operations and sub-surface engineering in both Australia and Malaysia. 

In 1997, Mark joined Santos and over the next 14 years, he held a range of management and executive roles before becoming CEO of the Santos LNG project based in Queensland in 2010. 

In 2013, Mark joined Tullow Oil, London as Director, Development and Operations and was subsequently appointed Executive Vice President, Africa. Prior to joining Todd Energy, Mark held of the role of Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for Tullow Oil’s HSE, exploration, operated and non-operated businesses, and commercial activities. 

Rob was appointed CEO of Nova Energy in 2025.

Since joining Todd in 2020, Rob has held several senior leadership positions, including GM Business Development for Nova, COO of Todd Solar and CEO of Integria Healthcare. Rob also served as Investment Manager at Todd Capital, overseeing assets in forestry, healthcare, minerals, and solar, and was Non-Executive Director of Red Hawk Mining Limited, representing Todd’s 60% ownership interest and its subsequent sale.

Rob’s broader career includes CEO roles at King Country Energy Limited and NZ Windfarms Limited, and senior positions in corporate finance and investment banking where he specialised primarily in the energy and forestry sectors.

Rob holds a bachelor's degree in Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury.

Annika joined Todd in March 2024 to develop and deliver Todd’s People Strategy and represent people and culture matters.  

Over her career, she has built leadership talent at the CEO, C-suite, and Board levels, appointing many CEOs and Directors for New Zealand’s top companies and crown entities. She was General Manager, People and Culture at Contact Energy and founded the New Zealand offices of Korn Ferry, setting up two HR services companies.  

Annika is an Independent Director of Craigmore Sustainables, investing in farming, horticulture, and forestry. She also established Kopuwai Delta Vineyard in Central Otago, combining her passion for wine and sustainability. 

Amy began her career at Todd at Todd Property, and prior to joining the Executive in January 2024 was Group Manager, External Relations, and Group Communications.  

Amy works with the Board, Executive, and internal stakeholders to develop strategic communications initiatives, address stakeholder concerns and create a consistent narrative for the business. She also oversees Todd's community engagement and stakeholder partnerships. 

Before joining Todd, Amy was a corporate affairs consultant advising private and public businesses on complex communications and reputational challenges. 

Mark was appointed Chief Legal Officer in 2023 and joined the Executive in January 2024. 

Mark is an experienced corporate lawyer and heads up Todd’s legal team, which provides legal, regulatory and compliance advice to all Divisions within the Group.  

Before joining Todd, Mark served as General Manager Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Legal Services and General Counsel for Westpac New Zealand. He has worked in teams that managed climate change impacts and led government and regulatory relations.  

Mark was previously the Managing Partner at Minter Ellison Rudd Watts. 

David was appointed to the Board in 2020 and became Chair in 2025. Born in England, David holds a law degree from Cambridge University and began his career in London at leading law firms before moving to New Zealand in 1984.

In between two tenures at Bell Gully, where he specialised in corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings, David was General Counsel and Company Secretary at Carter Holt Harvey – at the time New Zealand’s largest listed manufacturing company.

David chaired the NZX Markets Disciplinary Tribunal and was a member of the Takeovers Panel from 2011 to 2016.

Over the past ten years, David has become a professional director and is currently Chair of the dual-listed (NZX and ASX) AFT Pharmaceuticals and the Suncorp New Zealand group of companies. He is involved as a director and trustee with NEXT foundation environmental initiatives, Zero Invasive Predators and Project Janszoon.

Nick was appointed to the Board in July 2022 and elected as Chair in November 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Auckland and is a Fellow of CPA Australia.

Nick has served in senior finance roles at Todd, where he was Group CFO for six years. He was previously the CFO of some of New Zealand’s largest and most complex businesses, including Transpower (acting), Telecom, and Fletcher Building. He was the 2012 CFO of the Year (New Zealand). 

Nick has a background in debt capital markets and leveraged finance and worked for both Credit Suisse First Boston and JP Morgan Chase Hong Kong from 1998 to 2001. In his corporate career, Nick has significant mergers and acquisitions and debt raising experience in the New Zealand and international markets. In addition, he has led the end-to-end transformation and reorganisation of a number of substantial finance functions.  

Sir Bill was appointed to the Board in May 2021.  

Bill was Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister of New Zealand from October 2008 to December 2016 and Prime Minister until the change of government in October 2017. Prior to that Bill was Minister of Health from 1996 to 1999 and has also held ministerial roles in education, housing, and revenue since his election to Parliament in 1990. He has long-term interests in economic restructuring, sound microeconomic policy, and social policy reform. 

Peter was appointed to the Board in January 2024. Born in New Zealand, he holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from London Business School. 

Peter gained a wide range of experience as a lawyer with Allens in Melbourne, where he specialised in banking and finance. Following his MBA, he became a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London, advising multinationals and government entities on driving transformational change and addressing strategic challenges on a global scale, across various industries and geographies. Peter is a Principal at IAG.  

Rebecca joined the Board in 2021, bringing over 30 years of experience in property development and education and local government governance. She is passionate about environmental and community-based initiatives and serves as the Board’s Sustainability Champion, a role that helps ensure sustainability matters are appropriately considered in decision-making processes. She also mentors several New Zealand charities focused on sustainability, community development, and youth.  

Rebecca has held various governance roles within the Todd family, including serving on the Family Council from 2002 to 2010 and chairing it from 2008 to 2010. As Chair of the Family Council, she was involved in establishing the Todd Family Office. She was also a member of the Todd Foundation Board from 2015 to 2024 and held the position of Chair from 2020 to 2024. 

Will is a Todd family member and Auckland-based investor with a focus on domestic early stage companies.

Through his private investment vehicle, Will manages investments in domestic fintech, saas and deep tech, as well as private equity. He has two decades of experience in family roles, including two terms on the Family Council, Council Investment Committee, and one term as Council Chair. He is an investor and board observer of Kernel Wealth (director 2022 - 2025), alternate director of the Todd Family Office, an investor director of startup Airwave, and previously a director of SnowPlanet.

Will holds a Master's degree, a BA honours degree, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.

Jacqui joined the Board in October 2025, bringing with her more than two decades of leadership in the energy sector, as well as valuable experience in banking and finance. She previously held executive positions at Contact Energy, overseeing operations, generation, and development, and has also served in governance roles for several Contact Energy subsidiaries and a range of not-for-profit organisations. 

Jacqui offers a fresh outlook on operational leadership, risk management, and organisational transformation. She is dedicated to building sustainable partnerships with stakeholders and takes a long-term, intergenerational approach to business decisions and their impact. 

Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Otago and is affiliated with the Institute of Directors, Institute of Financial Professionals NZ Inc, Global Woman, and the New Zealand Geothermal Association. Among her accolades, Jacqui received the 2018 US Energy Association Corporate Volunteer Award and has completed professional development with the Institute of Directors and Global Women in Leadership.
