Community Focus - April 2026 issue
We’re excited to present this year's first edition of Community Focus – our quarterly update highlighting the people, partnerships and projects that continue to shape Todd’s connections across New Zealand.
Our latest edition spotlights the following partnerships:
He Toronga Pakihi ki Taranaki / Toi o te Hau procurement: Todd supported an event in Hāwera with He Toronga Pakihi ki Taranaki and PKW, connecting Māori businesses to opportunities relating to Toi o te Hau (formerly the Kapuni Project).
Rangitāiki horse trek: Todd supported a two-day, 40km horse trek with 80 riders, raising money for Rangitāiki Hall's upkeep.
Taranaki Youth Boost: Todd is supporting Youth Boost, which provides young people with access to education, sports, arts, and culture opportunities.
DOC Twizel / Lake Poaka: Todd is supporting DOC’s work to remove invasive trees from Lake Poaka and Waterwheel Wetlands, protecting native species and restoring the wetlands.
Tupu ā Nuku: Todd celebrated Tupu ā Nuku winning a community environment award for their amazing mahi helping young people build conservation skills and find employment.
Manukorihi Golf Club: Todd’s 13-year partnership continues to support community recreation and connection, helping facilitate recent improvements like a new water reservoir and improved carpark at the club.
PKW–Todd Undergraduate Scholarship: The Scholarship continues to make a meaningful difference, enabling the 2025 recipients, Tremayne McLeod Ratana and Ethan Matuku, to concentrate on their studies and wellbeing by alleviating financial stress.
In this issue, we also showcase Todd’s momentum in renewable energy and community partnership, including an update on Toi o te Hau, our role in New Zealand’s first superhot geothermal initiative, and the latest from Te Rahui Solar Farm project.
